I’ve come away from these books feeling confident in myself, confident in my knowledge and beliefs and also, quite unexpectedly, confident in other people. I am confident in saying that both 12 Rules for Life: An antidote to Chaos, and 12 More Rules for Life: Beyond Order(the book in review) have not only answered my questions in great detail, but allowed me to understand the many themes of life very well and ask the right questions to push me in the right direction. While an excess of chaos threatens us with uncertainty, an excess of order leads to a lack of curiosity and creative vitality. Now in this long-awaited sequel, Peterson goes further, showing that part of life's meaning comes from reaching out into the domain beyond what we know and adapting to an ever-transforming world. His insights have helped millions of people and resonated powerfully around the world. Peterson offered an antidote to the chaos in our lives: eternal truths applied to modern anxieties.
